Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Memorial Set. Franklin Delano Roosevelt 1882-1945. Memorial Service at Camp John's Gully, New Guinea, April 14, 1945. "In accordance with a Base order, the personnel of John's Gully held a memorial review at 1000 hours, 14 April, 1945, to honor the memory of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Elements formed on the road back of the dispensary at 0945 and began their march to the flag site, ten minutes later. This view shows the entire body proceeding from the direction of the diesel plant on their way to the ceremonies." Camp John's Gully, New Guinea, April 14, 1945
