American soldiers show General Eisenhower how to fire a machine gun. Official caption: "ETO-HQ-44-1170 Fenner 5 Feb 44. While inspecting an infantry unit in Southern England, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Commander of Allied Forces, demonstrates that he hasn't lost his 'doughboy' touch as he fires a Browning Heavy Machine Gun-off it's mount-form [sic] his hip. Confidential until reclassified by censor." Censored by United States Army Press Censor on 11 February 1944; passed for publication as censored by the United States Army Press Censor on 17 February 1944; passed for publication without censorship restrictions by SHAEF Field Press Censor on 14 May 1945.
