2024. '11 August 44. Kilian. No. 2 gunner of 81mm mortar prepares to drop mortar shell into tube in demonstration of fire power given at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The mortar was unique in the respect that it was mounted in the back of a half-track vehicle and fired from same.
