Items from the civilian service of Mr. Joseph V. Flanagan, who was a ship builder at Fore River Shipyard owned by Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation. During World War II, Fore River Shipyard had around 32,000 male and female workes and it produced over 220 ships. The collection consists of photographs Flanagan took during fundraisers in 1945.
