Soldiers attend a Christian religious service near enemy lines. Note that unit insignia have been censored in the photograph. Official caption: "ETO HQ 44 6612 Moors (5) 4 July. Lt. Col. James T. Wilson, Chaplain of a combat unit in France, holds services for him [sic] men only 2000 yards behind the enemy lines. Rev. Wilson comes from Pana, Ill. Confidential."
